2-2D: .06(2)(o)Employee misused the handsink by the dish machine; he "washed" a tomato in this sink. PIC stated tomatoes are cleaned in the prep sink. A handwashing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use. (Pf) A handwashing facility may not be used for purposes other than handwashing. (Pf)
Produce shall be washed in the designated produce prep sink.
Corrective Actions: Had employee stop misusing the hand sink. Tomato discarded.
